16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence Commemoration in Chitungwiza

UDACIZA hosted the 16 Days of Activism 2025 commemoration in Chitungwiza, working alongside ZHOCD structures, government ministries, the Zimbabwe Gender Commission, and various departments to strengthen collective action against gender-based violence (GBV).

With support from Trocaire, OXFAM, and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), the commemoration brought together faith-based and development partners to raise awareness, promote gender justice, and encourage communities to prevent and respond to GBV.

To strengthen the church’s message on GBV prevention, UDACIZA emphasized its apostolic theological roots, which advocate for gender justice, equality, and the dignity of women and girls.
